1. Who we are and what these Terms cover

SEEMEO is a collection of articles for parents of children who develop differently, operated by Ana Todorovska ("we", "us"). These Terms of Use apply to your access to and use of this website and its content. By accessing or using this website, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site.

2. What SEEMEO is — and what it is not

The content published on SEEMEO is intended solely for educational and informational purposes. It reflects lived parental experience and structured observation. It is not medical advice, psychological advice, diagnostic guidance, therapeutic instruction, or treatment recommendations, and it is not written by a clinician. Where scientific concepts are discussed, they are presented for educational purposes and should not be interpreted as clinical guidance for any individual child.

Every child is different. Nothing on this site is a substitute for individual assessment by a qualified professional who knows your child. If you have concerns about your child's health, development, or wellbeing, consult a qualified physician, psychologist, or other appropriate professional.

3. No professional relationship

Reading this site, subscribing to the newsletter, or contacting us does not create a doctor–patient, psychologist–client, therapist–client, legal, or any other professional or advisory relationship between you and us.

4. Your responsibility

You remain fully responsible for any decisions you make regarding your child and your family, including decisions informed by anything you read on this site. We encourage you to treat our articles as one perspective to think with — not as instructions to follow.

5. Intellectual property

All articles, text, and other content created by us — including the SEEMEO name and logo — are our original work and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. The selection, arrangement, structure, sequence, and organization of the content are also protected. Illustrations and other third-party materials appearing on this site are used under license from their respective rights holders and remain the property of those rights holders; nothing in these Terms grants you any rights in them.

You may:

  • read and share links to our articles;
  • quote brief excerpts with clear attribution and a link to the original article, for non-commercial purposes.

You may not, without our prior written permission:

  • reproduce, republish, or redistribute articles in whole or in substantial part;
  • use any content for commercial purposes;
  • create derivative works based on our content;
  • systematically scrape, crawl, harvest, or download content from this site;
  • use any content, in whole or in part, to train, fine-tune, or develop artificial intelligence or machine learning models. We expressly reserve all rights in our content for text and data mining purposes within the meaning of applicable law, including Article 4(3) of Directive (EU) 2019/790.

Nothing in these Terms grants any license or right to reproduce, adapt, translate, distribute, create derivative works from, or otherwise exploit the concepts, methodology, structure, editorial framework, or organization of the SEEMEO project except as expressly permitted.

6. Copyright enforcement

We take the originality of this work seriously. Unauthorized reproduction or commercial use of SEEMEO content may result in enforcement action, including formal takedown requests and legal claims for infringement under applicable copyright law. If you wish to license or reuse our content, contact us first — reasonable requests are welcome.

7. Newsletter

Newsletter subscription is voluntary and governed by our Privacy Policy. You can unsubscribe at any time via the link in every email.

8. External links

Our articles may link to external websites. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or practices. A link is not an endorsement.

9. Accuracy and availability

We aim to keep the site accurate and available, but we make no guarantee that content is complete, accurate, current, or error-free, or that the site will be available without interruption. We may modify, update, or remove content at any time.

10. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of this site or reliance on its content, including decisions made regarding your child's care, education, or development.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law, including liability for intent or gross negligence, or your mandatory rights as a consumer under the laws of your country of residence.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of North Macedonia. Disputes shall be subject to the jurisdiction of the competent courts in Skopje, without prejudice to any mandatory consumer protections and jurisdictional rights you may have under the laws of your country of residence.

12. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. The "Last updated" date above reflects the most recent version. Continued use of the site after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

13. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions remain in full force.
